Greek Coin Prints
The 9th age has been learning about printmaking as well as creating their own Greek Coins. The students first had to design Greek Coins using ancient examples to guide them. From there the 9th agers had to them carve their designs into Styrofoam from which we could then make three different prints from. Below are photos of the students working as well as the finished products. The end result looks fantastic!

Fabulous Shoe Art!
The Comedians of 10th Age
The boys of 10th age are putting their wit and good humor as well as artistic ability to good use for their latest art project. The boys had to create a main character and then build a cartoon story line around the character. The stories could be dramatic, comedic or just plain silly. Below are some characters ranging from Baby Mouse to Makeup Man to ice hockey players. The 10th agers interests as well as imagination really showed through with this art project.

Just Kickin' It in 8th Age
Greek Orders of Architecture
Before the break the 9th agers began to work on replicating the three orders of Greek Architecture. Below are student examples of the Doric, Ionic and Corinthian Orders. For the 'Fourth Order' the 9th agers had the chance to create their own order, I've included two examples of the new orders as well as their names.
