2009 Door Decor Contest
For the third year in a row the Halls of the Lower School have been brightened by the Annual Door Decor Contest. The teachers and the students came up with some really creative door designs. After a week of decorating and a week of voting by all the students and some teachers as well, the results are in.... Enjoy the movie to find out the results and winners. To end the celebration the students wore Black and Gold on Friday and had a special treat at snack.

The Boys' Animal Portraits
Spring Printmaking
The Lower School Art Club has completed another project. Below are each of the participants Printmaking projects. With Spring in mind the theme for the project was insects. After careful sketching the students then carved their designs into foam plates later rolling the plates with ink their designs were transferred to paper. Although each student created 6 prints they picked their 3 most successful to mat and display. Enjoy!

Aboriginal Art
The 8th agers learned about Aborigine Art of Australia recently. We watched a movie about the history of the Aborigines and saw multiple examples of their painting styles both ancient and contemporary. Using QTips to make dots the students picked an animal and represented it in the style of the Aboriginal Artists.Our House Is a Very, Very, Very Fine House
