Action Painting like Jackson Pollack

The gentlemen of 8th Age have spent the past four classes learning about Action painter Jackson Pollack and then having an opportunity to create their own Action paintings. This project is always a big fan favorite. There's just something about telling 8 year old boys that they can fling paints and brushes and use their hands to paint that is amazingly appealing. Unfortunately with the spring rain this activity was only indoor this year, usually we are in the courtyards where there is "more freedom of expression". Despite the setback, the boys did a fantastic job embracing the style of Jackson Pollack and making creative and thoughtful decisions when it came time to title their work.
