Grand Old Flags

The 7th Agers began their year in Art learning about American Pop artist Jasper Johns and experimenting with various mediums to create layers within their work. We have also ended the year with a Jasper Johns project this time taking our inspiration from his "Flag" paintings. It was so impressive to hear how much the students recalled from the beginning of the year about Jasper Johns. It also seemed fitting with Memorial Day right around the corner to celebrate the Red, White and Blue.
