African Kente Cloth

After learning about the fantastic and vibrant Kente Cloth of Africa the 7th agers attempted to create weaves just as bold and bright! Beginning with Black and White paintings we sliced the paintings allowing for a loom to be created and weaving strips to be pulled through. For the final step the students then painted again using bright colors to add further patterns to their "cloth". The end results are amazingly fun and bright creations!
