Matisse's Cut Outs

The 8th Agers have begun to study about various artists both their careers and the styles that made them famous. All of the boys and girls began with Henri Matisse. we studied the end of his career and looked at various examples of his Gouache Cut outs. Each student then had to use Matisse's technique to create their own "Paper Cut". Enjoy some of the examples below!
