Sarcophagi
After weeks of work our Mummy Cases are complete! Come to the library to check out these amazing works done by the 9th age. Beginning with shoe boxes we transformed the boxes into mini sarcophagi. On the front we have included an Egyptian self portrait complete with hidden hieroglyph messages such as, "Mummy Robbers Beware!" The sides were covered with jewel toned paper to create patterns. The back of the case was finished off with a Cartouche of the inhabitants name in hieroglyphs. The interior was also painted gold and there lies a mummy! It was a lot of work but the end result proves that it was well worth the time and patience that it took for the students to complete, Well Done 9th Age!
