In honor of both March Reading Madness and Dr. Seuss's Birthday which was March 2nd, the 7th agers have been creating their own Seuss Illustrations. 7-1 worked on re illustrating, "The Lorax" while 7-2 illustrated, "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?". On the girls' side 7-A illustrated, "Horton Hears A Who" and 7-B did , "The Sneetches". Dr. Seuss was a wonderful and funny author and illustrator who is not only a favorite with children but one of mine! We focused on "thinking" like a book illustrator imagining that we had been hired by Dr. Seuss himself to help him out. The end results are bright and colorful in our hallways and have encouraged a lot of reading. Enjoy!
